Prespes

The legend blends with reality and refer to elves and other strange cultures that lurk in the lakes and the thick forests.

Prespes is located in Western Macedonia and particularly in the perfecture of Florina. It is extended to a total area of 330 square kilometre and consists of two lakes, the small and the big one. The small Prespa belongs partly to our country and partly to Albania and the Republic of Macedonia. Together with the lakes Maliki and Ochrida are called lakes of Dassaritiki basin.

Prespes is about one hour away from Αteron.
